Continuing our days out, we had an impromptu drive up the Antrim Coast Road. This time, two cars of us went.

Who wants to hang about Belfast with a helicopter above their house on their day off work? Don’t think so.

This morning we watched a bit of the twelfth TV coverage and laughed at a fashionably challenged girl called Pamela and then christened a bearded band dude ‘Hipster Bigot’.

Initially we planned to go to Carnfunnock Country Park but the rain decided we should pay £4 into the car park, sit and look miserable and then make use of the nearby toilets. The weather was just bad craic.

So rather than head back towards Belfast, we went on to Carnlough. The weather brightened up and we had a lovely day. We even bumped into our cousins who are on holiday.

As per usual, the brethren greeted us with their presence in both Carnlough and Glenarm.
